£70m Sporting Playmaker told to make Old Trafford move by Cristiano Ronaldo as he’s the ‘ideal’ Ruben Amorim signing

Francisco Trincao told to join Manchester United
United in Focus understands, after speaking with transfer expert Graeme Bailey, that Francisco Trincao has been advised to move to United this summer.

It is now clear that Trincao has been told that a move to Manchester United is right for him

There will be competition as Trincao is also very much on Hugo Viana’s wishlist at Manchester City for when he takes charge at the Etihad. Viana is believed to be hoping to take Trincao and teammate Ousmane Diomande.

Trincao does have interest from around Europe, with AC Milan amongst those who are keen – but we are told the former Wolves man is keen to return to the Premier League and make an impact

Francisco Trinaco could follow in the footsteps of Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo
By heeding his compatriot’s advice and joining United for the rumoured £30m price tag, Trincao would be following in the footsteps of some Old Trafford icons.

Both Ronaldo and Bruno arrived at United from Sporting as exciting attacking players who soon made themselves indispensable to the club, and both now have a place in the club’s history books.

Trincao is cut from a similar cloth, with his 19-goal contribution season in Portugal sure to lead to several suitors, but United hold the ace card
