Aside from big-name stars underperforming, Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim has had to cope with numerous injuries, with key players missing huge sections of the season and a handful already ruled out for the remainder of the season.
Lisandro Martinez and Amad’s injuries were devastating considering their form, and Kobbie Mainoo’s absence for more than a month came at the worst possible time.
The former Sporting manager is also missing Mason Mount, who suffered an injury early in Amorim’s term. In fact, the former Chelsea star has missed 26 games this season after missing 31 the previous season.
