Ayden Heaven fires three-word Man United injury update before derby clash vs Man City

Manchester United will hope to have Ayden Heaven back sometime soon – as Ruben Amorim looks to get the Reds back into form for a vital stretch of the season.

Manchester United centre-back Ayden Heaven has issued a welcome injury update on social media.

The 19-year-old suffered an injury at Leicester City before the international break and was spotted leaving the King Power Stadium in a protective boot.

Heaven had earned his first Premier League start in that 3-0 win over Ruud van Nistelrooy’s team, but will now be on the side-lines for the time being.

There were fears that the promising defender could be unavailable for the remainder of the season. However, Reds head coach Ruben Amorim confirmed that he’s expected to feature again before the end of the campaign.

And Heaven has now provided an update on his Instagram story ahead of Sunday’s derby clash against Manchester City. “Soon back, Reds,” he said in a welcome three-word message on Friday afternoon.
