Sources: Man Utd hold talks to sign ‘sensational’ No.10 alongside Liam Delap

Manchester United are eyeing a summer move to sign Wolves star Matheus Cunha alongside Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap, GIVEMESPORT sources understand.

The Red Devils are in the market to strengthen their forward options for Ruben Amorim after a dismal campaign which currently sees the team sitting in 13th place in the Premier League, with just 37 goals scored in 31 games.

The team are desperate to have more goals added into the squad and Brazil star Cunha has now emerged as a target to fill one of the number ten roles in the 3-4-3 system.

Financial concerns are set to dictate a lot of Man Utd’s business this summer, with the club desperate to win the Europa League to secure Champions League football this season and hand them extra funds to use.

But club chiefs feel they will be able to strengthen the squad adequately no matter what, and GIVEMESPORT can reveal that the club have identified 25-year-old Cunha as a key target.

Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho and Joshua Zirkzee have all struggled for form this season and Amorim wants to add more goals to his squad, but Cunha is seen as a potential option as one of the number tens after his stellar campaign which has seen him score 13 goals and register four assists in the Premier League this season.
