Manchester United are desperate to see the back of goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer after his dismal season, according to a report from Fichajes.
The Red Devils coughed up in the region of £47 million to sign Onana in 2023 from Serie A side Inter Milan. His spell so far has been plagued with mishaps and, despite the occasional streaks of promising form, fans have ultimately been left dissatisfied with his presence between the sticks.
After being at fault for both of Lyon’s goals in the first left of Manchester United’s Europa League quarter-final clash, Onana was dropped for his team’s trip to Newcastle. Boss Ruben Amorim is demanding uncertainty from his goalkeepers, and the Cameroonian could be on his way out of the club in the summer transfer window.
