According to writer Ali Naci Küçük, Manchester United has extended an offer to Victor Osimhen for a deal of £660,000 per week, which he would accept this summer.
After struggling to produce goals, the Red Devils are looking to add a new striker before the new season begins.
Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee both failed to make the kind of impact they wanted at Old Trafford after making high-profile signings in previous seasons.
The Nigerian international is anticipated to depart Napoli, making Osimhen one of the top targets for the summer window. It has now been disclosed that INEOS chiefs have already made their offer.
Man Utd Table Offer to Osimhen
According to reports from Turkey, Galatasaray are desperate to keep hold of Osimhen following his loan spell this season, but financially, it looks like a difficult deal for them.
Man Utd and Juventus are pushing hard for his signature too, with Napoli expecting around £63m to let him leave permanently. But Osimhen’s wages are also expected to be an issue, with his demands said to be high.
So high in fact, that both Juventus and Man Utd have tabled an offer worth £17.1m per year net, which works out at around £330,000-a-week after tax. That would be £660,000-a-week before tax in the UK, making him their highest-paid player.
