(A score of 6 is around average)
Andre Onana 5 – Didn’t have an awful lot to do today but was well and truly beaten for Pablo Sarabia’s free-kick effort.
Noussair Mazraoui 6.5 – Defended well and made some good runs going forward. Passing was good and he helped neutralise the threat of Matheus Cunha.
Victor Lindelof 6.5 – Led well from the heart of the three-man defence. Had a good battle with Jørgen Strand Larsen and came out on top.
Tyler Fredricson 8 – Top debut! Before the match, Ruben Amorim highlighted his composure as one of his biggest strengths and this was evident against Wolves. Barely put a foot wrong and looked like a seasoned professional out there. Made a very good tackle on one occasion to keep Cunha from going through.
Patrick Dorgu 6 – Decent performance. Aimed two brilliant crosses from the right but there were no takers.
Manuel Ugarte 7 – Did well in collecting the ball from the defence and spreading it out. Good when carrying the ball and busy in the middle of the park, as is usually the case.
Christian Eriksen 5 – Forced Dan Bentley into two good saves in the first half – once directly from the corner and then from a free-kick routine. A few sloppy moments on the ball and conceded the foul in a dangerous area, from which Wolves took the lead.
Harry Amass 7 – Very good display at left-wing-back. Sensational on the ball and delivered a number of excellent crosses that were begging to be finished. Solid defensively, the highlight of which was a moment that saw him dispossess Nelson Semedo and snuff out a Wolves attack.
