“Absolutely hopeless his never starting the lineup again” – Ruben Amorim has had enough of him and fans too

Joshua Zirkzee, a forward for Manchester United, has had a really dismal start to his career at Old Trafford, and it’s safe to assume that he’s under fire today.

After making an impression in Serie A, the Netherlands international first appeared like an exciting addition when he joined Manchester United from Bologna in the summer.

It hasn’t occurred for Zirkzee at United, though, and he’s playing poorly against Bournemouth today once more.

Although there is still time for things to alter as the second half has just begun, Dean Huijsen’s header in the first half keeps the score at 1-0 for the visitors.

Zirkzee has been criticised by Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News for his lacklustre attempts to follow Huijsen on the free-kick.

On top of that, it seems United right-back Diogo Dalot is not too happy with Zirkzee either.

According to another MEN journalist, Tyrone Marshall, the Portuguese defender could be seen criticising the 23-year-old’s lack of effort at pressing earlier in the game

Zirkzee has strangely appeared especially out of place, and it’s difficult to see him sticking around for very long. Rasmus Hojlund hasn’t exactly been that convincing since coming to Manchester either.

Given that Gazzetta dello Sport recently connected Zirkzee to Juventus, he may already be returning to Italy.

United must undoubtedly perform better up front, and it appears that the Zirkzee deal was a major error that needs to be fixed right away.
