Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori picked up a knee problem in the final few minutes of Italy’s 2-1 defeat to Germany in the Nations League quarter-final first leg on Thursday evening.
The 22-year-old has had issues with his knees since joining the Gunners last summer, having already spent two separate spells on the sidelines with that type of injury this season.
This latest setback is not expected to keep Calafiori out for too long but he will not be available for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid next month.
