Man Utd lost 2-0 to Arsenal in the Premier League on Wednesday night and Roy Keane wasn’t impressed.
Roy Keane says Manchester United didn’t deserve anything against Arsenal and slammed a ‘rubbish’ team performance at the Emirates.
Ruben Amorim tasted his first defeat as United head coach thanks to set-piece goals from Jurrien Timber and William Saliba, which decided a match that was dominated by the home side.
United had shown some signs of promise with how they defended from open play in the first-half, though they were bullied from set-pieces throughout the encounter and offered very little attacking threat themselves.
Amorim made six changes for the match with Amad Diallo and Marcus Rashford among those dropping out of the line up, but they were unable to make up for lost time when they were introduced from the bench.
Amad actually looked rather bright once he was introduced, but Keane slammed Rashford for his disappointing cameo appearance in the second-half. “I’ll tell you something, Marcus Rashford came on there. His general play as a footballer is shocking,” Keane said on The Overlap.
