A French model once expressed her desire to “sleep with an entire Premiership team,” until she encountered former Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
Model Eglantine Aguilar believed her dreams had come true when she began a relationship with the towering Belgian, but it ultimately did not unfold as she had hoped.
In 2015, Fellaini reportedly left Aguilar feeling heartbroken and furious after it became clear that the affection she thought they shared was not mutual.
Eglantine was said to be enraged with the former United player, who had urged her to relocate from Los Angeles to Europe, only to end the relationship after their intimate encounter.
The couple had reportedly been involved for two months before Fellaini invited her to visit him following their exchange of explicit photographs, although she was not particularly receptive to his bold advances.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star back in 2015, the then-22-year-old said of the photos: “I asked, ‘Why have you sent me these?’ It was disrespectful. He wanted pictures of my bum but I said I didn’t do that.
Eventually I sent one and he replied, ‘Holy sh*t, it’s huge’. He said he loved big butts – the bigger the better.”
Eglantine asserted that she had made the decision to return to Europe, and within half an hour of her announcement, Fellaini arranged a £1,800 flight for her to the UK.
She explained: “He wanted to spend time together. I said I didn’t want just sex and he said that wasn’t what he wanted either. We spoke every day.
“He asked if I’d visited England and raved about London – he said it was top but Manchester was just okay. It was economy and I normally fly business but I didn’t mind as I couldn’t wait to see him.”
Nevertheless, their relationship did not fulfill her expectations, as it soon became apparent that Fellaini was merely purportedly interested in enhancing his reputation by associating himself with a few of his Premier League competitors.
“He should have been honest from the start,” she said. “I had a good life in LA but I moved back because I liked him. He said he wanted something special. But a few days after I relocated he started ignoring me. I’ve been a fool.”
Eglantine was not only unimpressed by Fellaini’s intentions but also by his performance, which did not meet her expectations. She remarked, “After weeks of anticipation, I expected a truly passionate encounter. However, there was a lack of foreplay, as he seemed more interested in having me cater to his desires.”
“We had sex in a few positions…he was quite well-endowed. It lasted half an hour. It was fine, just a bit boring.”
Despite Fellaini’s iconic hairdo being adored by his fans, Eglantine was not impressed. “When I looked up I could see this long, curly hair. It was like being in bed with a woman. It kept tickling me and getting in the way,” she moaned.
The next night, the couple allegedly met again as they dined out before heading home for more action. But Eglantine was still left short changed, she said: “It was even quicker than the night before, maybe about 15 minutes. We just did it once. It wasn’t any better.”
However, the spark abruptly ended as Fellaini ignored her calls and texts, as he claimed he was ‘busy’.
Their relationship eventually ended when Eglantine confronted him and called him a liar: “I told him he should have been honest with me from the start and admitted he’d just wanted sex. He used me. Now I have no job and no boyfriend – I was foolish to believe him.”
Fellaini, now 37, retired in 2023, having finished his playing days in China with Shandong Taishan after leaving Old Trafford in 2019 following five-and-a-half years in Manchester.
