Manchester United fans have apologised to one player following his performance in the dramatic win over Lyon at Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim led United to a season-defining win over French side Olympique Lyonnais in the Europa League on Thursday night, booking his side’s place in the semi-finals.
After goals from Manuel Ugarte and Diogo Dalot that sealed United’s place in the first round, it seemed that United were coasting to victory, but they were forced to dig deep and come back in a highly dramatic period of extra time, with the final score being 5-4.
