The young player has contributed to six goals this season, playing various roles including right winger, attacking midfielder, and striker for the South Coast team.
We believe that the left-footed talent is well-equipped to excel as a right wing-back.
Dibling has demonstrated considerable defensive capabilities this season, effectively tracking back with an average of 4.3 duels won and two recoveries per match.
He averages one tackle per game and has accumulated six yellow cards in the process. Offensively, he also contributes with 1.5 dribbles per match.
At just 19 years old, he is likely to improve further with more creative teammates around him. He would be a more advantageous signing than Quenda, given his greater experience and familiarity with the Premier League.
During the last transfer window, Southampton was unwilling to sell him for less than £55 million, although some clubs expressed readiness to pay £40 million to secure his transfer.
We believe that the price could be negotiable, especially considering the club’s likely relegation. United should actively pursue Dibling after missing out on Quenda.
