Manchester United take face Fulham in the fifth round of the FA Cup today, and the players have arrived at Old Trafford.
Manchester United’s intriguing youngster Chido Obi has been included to the first-team squad that will face Fulham in the FA Cup fifth round on Sunday afternoon. Obi did not fly to London to play for the Under-18s on Friday since he has been named to the senior group once again.
It was a risk not to select Obi in the U18 FA Youth Cup quarter-finals against Arsenal, but the youngsters advanced with a 3-2 triumph in extra time at the Emirates.
Obi earned his senior debut against Tottenham Hotspur last month, and the teenage striker replaced Rasmus Hojlund for 20 minutes against Everton at Goodison Park last weekend.
The 17-year-old has been productive in academy games since joining from Arsenal last summer and could get another chance to demonstrate what he can do against Fulham at Old Trafford.
United are seeking to make it back-to-back league victories after a 3-2 triumph against Ipswich Town in midweek, but Patrick Dorgu will miss the game due to a red card.
Ruben Amorim named only eight players to the bench against Ipswich, resulting in a team of 19.
The players arrived at Old Trafford to face Fulham at around 12:30pm on Sunday, and MUTV’s cameras captured 17 of them. Dorgu was absent, as expected, and Elyh Harrison was not present, though this does not rule out the young goalkeeper’s inclusion in the team.
Amorim’s team has been decimated due to injuries, and the following is a list of players sighted coming.
