Manchester United €60m asking price proving to be a problem

Rasmus Hojlund had another frustrating afternoon during Manchester United’s 1-0 loss to Wolves yesterday.

He showed a beautiful piece of skill in the second half but his final product was lacking and that defined his struggles for the Red Devils.

So far this season, the Denmark international has only three Premier League goals and this has brought about uncertainty regarding his future.

Tuttomercatoweb’s Nicolo Ceccarini has reported that Antonio Conte’s Napoli have been monitoring the striker ‘for some time’.

While the 22-year-old is a potential target for the Italian side, things are complicated because of Manchester United’s asking price. That is making things difficult for Napoli to sign Hojlund.

While Ceccarini does not mention the Red Devils’ valuation for the player, a hint of that is provided by TuttoJuve.

They state that Manchester United demand a fee of €60m to sell Hojlund and the belief is that Ruben Amorim’s side are willing to hold talks for a sale.
