Victor Osimhen has been heavily linked with a Manchester United move in the last few months.
The African and Turkish press have been confident about a transfer and more of it is now emerging from Italy.
TuttoSport today state that Manchester United now have an ‘agreement in principle’ with Osimhen’s entourage over the striker’s salary, amidst keen interest from Juventus and their sporting director Cristiano Guintoli.
The report iterates the Red Devils have to pay the Nigeria international’s €75m release clause, applicable to clubs outside of Italy.
That seems to appeal to Ruben Amorim’s side, who are ‘increasingly intent’ on bringing the striker to Old Trafford.
Having said that, it will be necessary for Rasmus Hojlund to depart Manchester United and as a result, the Dane can become a key target for the Old Lady in the summer transfer window and he is still very much liked in the Serie A.
All of this will also impact Juventus’ move for Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman, who has been on the Bianconeri’s radar for the last few months.
Even if TuttoSport are confident about the agreement between Manchester United and Osimhen’s entourage, the information does not align with the UK press’ belief that the English giants are keen on Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap. So it remains to be seen how the situation develops.
