Marcus Rashford breaks silence with five-word response after Ruben Amorim Man United questions

Marcus Rashford has broken his social media silence for the first time since revealing he wants to leave Manchester United . The 27 year old forward, who has been with the club for two decades, was not included in the squad for their last three matches.

Despite reports suggesting that the decision to sell him was made by the Old trafford hierarchy, new manager Ruben Amorim insists it was his call. Rashford’s last post was from a visit to his old primary school, Button Lane, where he distributed Christmas presents.

It was during this visit that he announced his intention to leave his boyhood club after nine seasons in the first team. Now, Rashford has shared a photo of himself with family and loved ones ahead of Christmas Day, captioning it “Family time. Happy Christmas everyone.”

Speaking to Sky Sports, the Red Devils’ boss said: “Of course it is a hard situation. But I understand that this kind of player, they have a lot of people around them making some choices that are sometimes not the first idea from the player. So I understand, I can separate things. I am always here for helping Marcus as another player. And they have to do what they have to do “, reports the mirror

The head coach commented on the interview situation with Marcus Rashford, stating, “I say they chose to do that interview, because it’s not just Marcus, and I understand that. As a coach I am just focussed on the performance, the way he trains. And the rest, I think it is better for me and the club to deal with that when the time comes.”
