Marcus Rashford’s ‘true feelings’ towards Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim have been revealed according to a source.
Rashford, 27, is currently on loan at Aston Villa from Manchester United, having fallen out of favour with Red Devils head coach Amorim, 40.
Back in December, Rashford was omitted from United’s match day squad ahead of the Manchester derby against Manchester City.
In the days that followed, he stated that he was “ready for a new challenge” during an interview with journalist Henry Winter.
Despite being linked with the likes of AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund during the winter transfer window, he eventually penned a loan deal at Aston Villa until the end of the season and has since made a positive contribution to Unai Emery’s side with three goals and six assists in 15 appearances.
However, Rashford’s future remains uncertain – but the England international has “never been happier”, according to the Manchester Evening News.
A source reportedly explained how Rashford appreciates Emery’s coaching style and man-management.
Still, the cause of Amorim and Rashford’s frosty relationship is unclear but the 27-year-old could move on to a bigger club this summer.
