If there is one Manchester United player who needs some luck at the moment, it is Rasmus Hojlund.
The Denmark international striker is struggling to perform at the level required at a club like United.
He is lacking confidence at the moment and one of the moments against Wolves at Old Trafford showed his poor decision making and his lack of awareness.
The attacker made beautiful run on the left-flank to open up space for himself but when he should have passed to Kobbie Mainoo who would have had a clear chance to score a goal, he failed and tried to score himself.
As expected, Hojlund failed to make anything out of it when it could have been a useful situation for United.
Jamie O’Hara has been highly critical of Hojlund on Sky Sports News, criticising the attacker for wasting a golden opportunity to create a chance for his teammate.
O’Hara said on Sky Sports News:
“Hojlund makes a massive mess of it.
“He’s driving through. Mainoo has made a great run. He’s in acres of space. It’s not even a hard pass and Mainoo would have a free shot on goal
“Hojlund takes 20 minutes to get it out of his feet and Wolves get back to make a tackle.
“That sums up his Man Utd career: not good enough, nowhere near good enough.”
