Recently, Ruben Amorim received an unexpected solution to the problem of replacing Lisandro Martinez.

With the Premier League arguably now a write-off, Ruben Amorim is heading into the last stretch of the season in both the FA Cup and Europa League.

While the goal in the league must be to just stay afloat, everything depends on those two competitions.

After Lisandro Martinez’s injury update showed the severity of his problem, the argument that Man Utd needed all the assistance possible took a serious hit.

Martinez’s special skill set made him indispensable at that left-sided centre-back position, but Ruben Amorim recently received an unexpected remedy to the problem.

When positioned on the left, Yoro may move inside and provide raking balls to the striker, according to an interview with Rio Ferdinand posted on his YouTube channel.

“I really like to play on the left, but sometimes it’s easier for me on the right because I’m right-footed,” he remarked. Because I can [play into] the midfield or throw a long ball to the striker when I go inside. I have no issues with it.
