United ready to sell promising star for around €40m, Fiorentina poised to make a shock move – report

Joshua Zirkzee is reportedly open to leaving Manchester United this summer.

United supporters were once again disappointed by Rasmus Hojlund’s performance against Chelsea on Friday, as the Red Devils lost 1-0 at Stamford Bridge after failing to capitalize on their early domination.

According to numerous reports in recent weeks, United plans to try to sell Hojlund this summer. According to a source, Zirkzee might also depart as part of an offensive revamp.

Serie A clubs are showing a lot of interest in Zirkzee, and United is willing to transfer him, according to CaughtOffside.

Due to a hamstring injury he suffered at Newcastle United in April, the 23-year-old is presently out.

The Dutchman appeared to have regained his confidence in possession prior to his injury, and he showed promise as a wide playmaker.

Nevertheless, with only three Premier League goals to his name, the forward continues to struggle in front of goal.

The former Bologna man’s skill set is reportedly still admired by Italian clubs. According to a recent report from The Peoples Person, Inter Milan is interested in signing the player and is even getting ready to make an offer.

Juventus is also a fan of Zirkzee, according to CaughtOffside, and Fiorentina may try to sign him if they lose Moise Kean, their top scorer.

One of the teams reportedly keeping an eye on Kean is United.

Furthermore, after only one season at Old Trafford, Zirkzee “can leave for less than €40m.” The Netherlands international was acquired by United from Bologna for €42.5 million.

It is thought that Serie A teams would be more open to a loan agreement. Zirkzee would be able to improve his finishing and maintain his goal of thriving at United thanks to the temporary transfer.
